JUGGA-POST_01

Daily_Report.

This is my 1st Post!... Ever... and because it's 03:53am and I've spent over 4 hours working non-stop on Autodesk Maya, learning how 2 model Shoe laces in 3D I'm fuckin' tired...
I haven't been able 2 draw anything today which really sucks... I do however got a lil' WIP that I started yesterday.

I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball Z, I'm also a big fan of CZW... So I put those together and came up with the idea of a "SexyEddie" - "1st_Stage_Cell" Fusion. You can see from the sketch that I still have a long way 2 go, however the specific body shape that I'm goin' 4 is already starting 2 form here. You can also see how learning 2 work in 3D is affecting my sketching. I find it impossible 2 construct a good looking piece of anatomy without adding some form of Wireframe 2 it.

Before I call it a night though I wanna add some real Power 2 this Post so... that's why I'm adding one of my earlier works 2 it, this one I did earlier this year. Inspired heavily by Simon Bisley, mostly by the work he did on the "Slaine" Graphic Novel.

S. Bisley's Slaine!

The mystical aspect of it, the grotesquely amplified veins and muscles... Gotta love it, fuckin' BadAss! The other half of the inspiration pool which was milked 4 this project came from the Singer "Rihanna", mamita has become a huge sex symbol in the past years, specially when she started touring the world, promoting her albums with half her head shaved off or her hair colored bright red, touching herself 4 her audience... mmmm...
Check it Out! This is "Rated R."

Simon Bisley as a GREAT influenece, but your work is VERY distinctive. :P I think I may actually like your linework better...Bisey is a MASTER with color though. XD

What u said about my work being distinctive is true, I've tried really hard throughout the years to maintain a certain, personal visual style, Although It's improved certain qualities of it have remained the same. I simply looked at Bisley's work and tried to "take" certain qualities of it that I thought would benefit me in the evolution of my style, I wasn't trying 2 mimic it. Another great artist who has influenced me greatly is Dave McKean, him I'll get 2 at a later stage tho. U like my linework better? :-) That's a huge compliment, specially when comparing it 2 a veteran's work. Bisley is a master at adding depth and texture 2 his work, and believe it or not the reference picture I put up was done entirely with traditional mediums, which I think is incredible and a painfully-long / time consuming process.
